Crispy chickpeas in air fryer
Ingredients
For Crispy Chickpeas:
Dried chickpeas (overnight soaked & boiled) – 1 cup
Olive oil – 1 to 1½ tbsp
Salt – to taste
Red chilli powder – ½ tsp
Turmeric powder – ¼ tsp
Coriander (Dhaniya) powder – ½ tsp
Chaat masala – ½ tsp
For Salad:
Cucumber, chopped – 1 cup
Tomato, chopped – 1 cup
Onion, finely chopped – ½ cup
Pomegranate pearls – ¼ cup
Fresh coriander, chopped – 2 tbsp
Green chillies, finely chopped – to taste
Lemon juice – 1 to 1½ tbsp
Salt – to taste
Crispy chickpeas – prepared above
Step-by-Step Process
Soak dried chickpeas overnight.
Boil the soaked chickpeas until soft, then strain and remove all excess water completely.
In a bowl, toss boiled chickpeas with:
Mustard oil,salt,red chilli powder,turmeric powder,coriander powder,chaat masala
Air fry at 200°C for 20 minutes, shaking halfway, until golden and crispy.
In a large mixing bowl, add:
cucumber,tomato,onion,pomegranate ,green chillies,lemon juice,salt
Add crispy chickpeas and mix well.
Serve fresh and enjoy! 😋
