For the meatballs:

1 lb ground beef

1/2 cup Panko breadcrumbs

1 large egg

2 cloves garlic, finely minced

2 green onions, finely chopped

1 tablespoon soy sauce

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

For the sauce:

1/3 cup honey

1/4 cup soy sauce, less sodium

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon rice vinegar (or apple cider vinegar)

1 teaspoon sesame oil

1 tablespoon cornstarch + water

Sesame seeds and chopped green onions, for garnish

In a large bowl, combine ground chicken, breadcrumbs, egg, garlic, green onion, soy sauce, salt, and pepper.

Mix gently just just combined. Don’t overmix, or the meatballs can turn tough.

Roll into 1-inch meatballs and place them in the air fryer basket. Make sure they aren’t touching. Cook them at 380 degrees F for 8 minutes or until the meatballs reach an internal temperature of 165°F. Shake the basket half way.

In a skillet, combine honey, soy sauce, garlic, vinegar and sesame oil. Bring to a gentle simmer over medium heat. Stir in the cornstarch slurry and simmer until glossy and slightly thickened.

Add the cooked meatballs to the skillet and toss until fully coated in the sticky sauce.

Sprinkle with sesame seeds and chopped green onion for garnish.

Deliciosas albóndigas pegajosas de miel y ajo que son perfectas para picar durante el día del juego.

Ingredientes para Albóndigas de miel y ajo en freidora de aire

  • 1 lb de carne molida
  • 1/2 taza de migas de pan Panko
  • 1 huevo grande
  • 2 dientes de ajo, finamente picados
  • 2 cebollas verdes, finamente picadas
  • 1 cucharada de salsa de soja
  • 1/2 cucharadita de sal
  • 1/4 cucharadita de pimienta negra
  • Para la salsa:
  • 1/3 taza de miel
  • 1/4 taza de salsa de soja, baja en sodio
  • 2 dientes de ajo, picados
  • 1 cucharada de vinagre de arroz (o vinagre de sidra de manzana)
  • 1 cucharadita de aceite de sésamo
  • 1 cucharada de maicena + agua
  • Semillas de sésamo y cebollas verdes picadas, para decorar

Instrucciones para Albóndigas de miel y ajo en freidora de aire

En un bol grande, combina la carne molida, las migas de pan, el huevo, el ajo, la cebolla verde, la salsa de soja, la sal y la pimienta.

Mezcla suavemente hasta que esté bien combinado. No mezcles demasiado, o las albóndigas pueden volverse duras.

Forma albóndigas de 1 pulgada y colócalas en la cesta de la freidora de aire. Asegúrate de que no se toquen. Cocínalas a 380 grados F durante 8 minutos o hasta que las albóndigas alcancen una temperatura interna de 165°F. Agita la cesta a la mitad del tiempo.

En una sartén, combina la miel, la salsa de soja, el ajo, el vinagre y el aceite de sésamo. Lleva a fuego lento suave a fuego medio. Agrega la mezcla de maicena y cocina hasta que esté brillante y ligeramente espesa.

Agrega las albóndigas cocidas a la sartén y mezcla hasta que estén completamente cubiertas con la salsa pegajosa.
