Stuffed with a creamy cheese filling, topped with breadcrumbs, and air fried to crisp and crunchy perfection. Did I mention they’ll be ready in 20 mins?! These poppers are SO easy to make, which is good because they go FAST, every time. 🌶️🧀🔥
Jalapeño Poppers Recipe:
6 large jalapeño peppers or 8 medium4 ounces cream cheese, softened1/2 cup cheddar cheese, shredded2 green onions, finely chopped1/2 teaspoon garlic powder6 strips bacon, cooked and finely choppedsalt & pepper, to taste1/2 cup panko breadcrumbsolive oil sprayfresh chopped parsley or chives, for garnish
Instructions
1. Slice each jalapeño in half lengthwise and scoop out the seeds and membranes to reduce the heat (you might want to wear cut-resistant gloves).
2. In a bowl, mix together the softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar, green onions, garlic powder, and crumbled bacon. Season with salt and pepper.
3. Spoon the cream cheese mixture into each jalapeño half, filling them generously.
4. Place the panko breadcrumbs in a shallow bowl and dip the filled jalapeños into the panko, pressing lightly to adhere. For an extra crispy finish, spray the panko with a little olive oil spray.
5. Preheat the air fryer to 375℉. Place the jalapeño poppers in the air fryer basket in a single layer (you may need to do this in batches). Cook for 8–10 minutes, or until the jalapeños are tender and the breadcrumbs are golden and crispy.
6. Let the jalapeño poppers cool slightly before serving. Garnish them with fresh parsley or chives and enjoy as an appetizer or snack with your favorite dipping sauce!

Ingredientes para AIR FRYER JALAPEÑO POPPERS
- 6 jalapeños grandes o 8 medianos
- 4 onzas de queso crema, ablandado
- 1/2 taza de queso cheddar rallado
- 2 cebollas verdes, finamente picadas
- 1/2 cucharadita de ajo en polvo
- 6 tiras de tocino, cocido y picado finamente
- Sal y pimienta, al gusto
- 1/2 taza de migas de panko
- Aceite de oliva en spray
- Perejil fresco picado o cebollín, para decorar
Instrucciones para AIR FRYER JALAPEÑO POPPERS
1. Corta cada jalapeño por la mitad a lo largo y saca las semillas y membranas para reducir el picante (puedes usar guantes resistentes al corte).
2. En un tazón, mezcla el queso crema ablandado, el queso cheddar rallado, las cebollas verdes, el ajo en polvo y el tocino desmenuzado. Sazona con sal y pimienta.
3. Rellena generosamente cada mitad de jalapeño con la mezcla de queso crema.
4. Coloca las migas de panko en un plato hondo y sumerge los jalapeños rellenos en el panko, presionando ligeramente para que se adhiera. Para un acabado extra crujiente, rocía el panko con un poco de aceite de oliva en spray.
5. Precalienta la air fryer a 375℉. Coloca los jalapeño poppers en la canasta de la air fryer en una sola capa (es posible que necesites hacer esto en lotes). Cocina durante 8-10 minutos, o hasta que los jalapeños estén tiernos y las migas estén doradas y crujientes.
6. Deja que los jalapeño poppers se enfríen ligeramente antes de servir. Decóralos con perejil fresco o cebollín y ¡disfruta como aperitivo o snack con tu salsa favorita!
