🇵🇭 “Quick & Easy Air Fryer Tilapia Recipe: Perfect Every Time!” 🐠
In today’s video, we’ll show you how to cook whole tilapia in the air fryer for a delicious, crispy, and juicy seafood dinner. This easy recipe uses fresh ingredients like soy sauce, black pepper, tomatoes, and onions to stuff the fish, adding incredible flavour from the inside out. Ready in just 40 minutes, it’s the perfect weeknight meal!
Cooking whole fish in the air fryer results in a perfectly crispy skin and moist, tender flesh. Plus, the seasoning and stuffing infuse the fish with savoury goodness.
Ingredients:
2 whole tilapia (cleaned and gutted)
2 tbsp soy sauce
1/2 tsp black pepper (or to taste)
2 tomatoes, chopped
1 small onion, thinly chopped
Olive oil (for light coating)
Instructions:
Air fryer to 390°F (200°C).
Stuff the tilapia: In a bowl, mix the chopped tomatoes, sliced onions, soy sauce, and black pepper. Stuff the mixture inside the cavity of each whole tilapia.
Lightly coat the outside of the fish with olive oil/Soya Sauce to help it crisp up during cooking.
Place the tilapia in the air fryer basket, making sure they are positioned in a single layer.
Cook for 20 minutes on one side, then flip the fish and cook for another 20 minutes on the other side, or until the fish skin is crispy and the flesh flakes easily with a fork.

- Pre calienta el air fryer a 390°F (200°C).
- Rellena la tilapia: En un tazón, mezcla los tomates picados, cebollas en rodajas, salsa de soja y pimienta negra. Rellena la mezcla dentro de la cavidad de cada tilapia entera.
- Unta ligeramente el exterior del pescado con aceite de oliva/salsa de soja para que se dore durante la cocción.
