🍠 How to Make Pounded Yam with a Thermomix (Boil First Method)

Ingredients:

• 500g yam (peeled and cut into chunks)

• Water

Instructions:

Step 1: Prepare the Yam

Peel, wash, and cut into chunks.

Step 2: Steam the Yam

• Place yam in Varoma or basket

• Add 500–700g water

• Steam 20–30 mins / Varoma / speed 1 until soft

Step 3: Transfer

Move hot yam into the mixing bowl (no excess water).

Step 4: Pound (Blend After Cooking)

Mix speed 5–7 for 30–60 seconds, using spatula if needed.

Step 5: Adjust Texture

Add a little hot water if needed, then mix again briefly.

Step 6: Serve 🍽️

Cómo hacer Puré de Yam con Thermomix

Un método fácil y rápido para obtener un delicioso puré de yam sin el esfuerzo de usar un mortero y mano.

Ingredientes para Puré de Yam con Thermomix

  • 500g de yam (pelado y cortado en trozos)
  • Agua

Instrucciones para Puré de Yam con Thermomix

Paso 1: Preparar el Yam

Pelar, lavar y cortar en trozos.

Paso 2: Vaporizar el Yam

Colocar el yam en el Varoma o cesta

Agregar 500-700g de agua

Vaporizar de 20 a 30 minutos a temperatura Varoma y velocidad 1 hasta que esté suave

Paso 3: Transferir

Mover el yam caliente al vaso de mezclas (sin exceso de agua)

Paso 4: Triturar (Mezclar después de cocinar)

Mezclar a velocidad 5-7 durante 30-60 segundos, usando la espátula si es necesario.

Paso 5: Ajustar la textura

Agregar un poco de agua caliente si es necesario, luego mezclar brevemente de nuevo.
