These super delicious homemade meatballs are crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. We’ll cook half in the air fryer and the other half in a pan—which one will you prefer?

📖 Recipe
Ingredients:

• 500g minced meat (beef, lamb, or pork)
• 1 medium onion, blended or finely chopped
• 2 garlic cloves, blended or finely chopped
• A handful of coriander or parsley, finely chopped
• 2 heaped tablespoons of tomato paste
• 1 teaspoon paprika
• 1 teaspoon cumin
• 1 teaspoon salt
• A bit of black pepper
• 4 breadsticks, crushed into small crumbs
• Just under ½ cup (about 100ml) oil (vegetable or sunflower) (Use less if your meat has more fat, up to ½ cup if it’s lean)
Instructions:

1️⃣ Prepare the mixture:
• Add the minced meat, onion, garlic, coriander or parsley, tomato paste, paprika, cumin, salt, and black pepper to a bowl.
• Crush the breadsticks inside their packet using something heavy, then add them to the bowl.
• Pour in the oil, adjusting the amount based on the fat content of your meat.

2️⃣ Knead the mixture:
• Knead everything firmly for about 5 minutes until the mixture becomes soft and sticky.

3️⃣ Shape the meatballs:
• Take a small amount of the mixture and roll it between your palms.
• Repeat until you have about 17-18 medium-sized meatballs.
Cooking Methods:

🔹 Air Fryer Method:
• Place 9 meatballs in the air fryer basket.
• Spray a little oil on top or drizzle some over them.
• Cook at 175°C for 12 minutes (no need to preheat).

🔹 Pan Method:
• Add 2 tablespoons of water to a pan.
• Place the remaining 9 meatballs in the pan.
• Cover with a lid and cook on medium-low heat for 10-12 minutes.
• Once the water has steamed out, turn the heat up to high and let the meatballs fry in their own fat until crispy.

  • 1 cebolla mediana, picada finamente
